Smart Controller and iPad?

I want to fly using the smart controller, and i want to have my iPad used as an extra screen, can i simply plug my iPad into the smart controller and start "DJI Go"?

I am able to load PowerMirror, but can not load PdaNet+. it states no available devices. any tips

You don’t need it. Just use any phone as Wi-Fi router or any other equipment and connect booth SC and iPad to that Wi-Fi network. Than just follow the Powermirror instructions.
