Smart controller screen flickering

Hello everyone.

I'm a new DJI Mavic Air 2 owner. My first drone. I bought it with the smart controller. During flight I get a purple flicker on the screen. This then transfers to my saved recording. Any ideas why or do I get a faulty smart controller?

If it’s on your recording then it’s a sensor/camera issue and not your display.

That looks like a bad camera cable or connector. I may wrong.

Could also be a bad sensor. I had an old Canon camera that did that and it turned out that there was a batch of bad sensors.

If it's a new drone I'd get it replaced under warranty.

Check if the flicker is present in the video file stored on the SD card of the drone and / or in the smart controller. If the flicker is present on the drone SD card, then the camera sensor might be defective. If the flicker is only in the video file stored on the smart controller, then the smart controller could be defective.
