It would make it easy to CHOP out the bad bulb that keeps the entire string from working!

I haven't thought about it for hanging lights. I did think about buying a Mavic 2 Enterprise and illuminating my Nativity in the front yard with the spot light attachment. I'd only need to land and swap batteries every 20 minutes or so. Shoot, I could probably hire a neighbor kid to do that.

You'd need at least 5 batteries though, maybe 4 if you use a charger that puts out a full 4.5A.
That might even get away with 3.
