Thanks, this is actually my companies solar field. Our 12 year yearly average for generated power is 391,098 kWh a year. That enough for 250 homes

Thats a productive solar farm. But here is an interesting energy calculation. That yearly energy production equals the chemical energy in about 11,605 gallons of gasoline over a year or about 32 gallons of gasoline energy per day. Our local single COSTCO pumps 65,000 gallons of gasoline per day - well over or over 2 million kWh a DAY! It turns out that petroleum based energy products are very energy dense.
