Altitude - Vertical distance between the aircraft and mean sea level (MSL).
Height - Vertical distance between aircraft and terrain.
Elevation - The vertical distance between an object or point in the ground and MSL.
Climb - Used instead of “ascent or rise”. Vertical height or altitude aircraft gain.
Descent- Vertical height or altitude loss.

There must be a reason why you posted this, is it because a lot of people dont know the meaning of the words? Or maybe they dont use them properly.

Per the AIM, altitude would include both “height” as you define it and altitude, depending on whether it’s designated MSL or AGL (although this glossary indicates that ICAO uses the term only to mean altitude MSL). Then there’s indicated altitude, density altitude, and pressure altitude.

Good post, I see a lot of these terms used interchangably and it's nice if we're all on the same page.
