My Specta Air is now sitting on the sidelines :-(

The Wide Angle camera will not focus at all. It does not try to focus no matter what I do and I try in manual focus nothing either. I contacted support and they were fast to reply at first. gave me a list of things to try: Ensure firmware is up to date, Reset the camera settings, Calibrate Gimbal and Camera, check for something obstructing the lens.

All of which I did more than once and still nothing. Since they say nothing inside the gimbal is user serviceable I don't know what else to do. I responded to them making them aware that none of what they suggested worked and they said they will have to forward this matter to the relevant team (DJI?) for further investigation and get back with me. I am still waiting to hear back and its been several days closing in on a week now but just silence. My vacation is coming up and Id like to fix this in time. I hate to open up the gimbal and void any warranty but I might if they don't get back with me.

Any ideas or thoughts from anyone that has had such an issue on maybe another UAV I'm assuming I wont hear much about this issue on an Air 3 at this point but never know...

Thanks for any input or suggestions...

Focus is a camera issue, not a gimbal issue. You'll likely need a replacement of the entire camera assembly, which is hopefully covered under warranty. These multi-camera setups in one housing are not independently replaceable.

I would send it to DJI- Call and get a shipping label, and plan on a two week absence. If this interferes with your vacation, you are stuck. I am a total newb when it comes to fixing things and I wouldn't dare to touch it.
The cost of repair is still cheaper than being a ne drone. If you have DJI Refresh, great.

It's not a DJI product. It's a Chinese clone so you are on your own if they can't help.
