Hi everyone,

I like to take sphere pictures with my Mini 3 Pro, but in windy situations I tend to get bad overlaps (see picture in my post).

Do you also face the same issue ? I am wondering if stitiching the picture myself would solve the issue instead of taking the created output from the drone itself.

That has nothing to do with windy conditions and is a result of basic stitching software not doing a good job.

Dedicated stitching software will do a much better job of stitching, but can still have problems if your scene has large areas without clearly identifiable points for the software to match.

DJI's in-camera stitching algorithm has gotten progressively better, to where on the Mini 4 Pro and the Mavic 4 Pro, its HiRes stitch is as good as PTGui and Panorama Studio Pro 4 on most stitches, complete with a cloned in ceiling. It was in its infancy on the Mini 3 Pro and only produced a low res stitch. Try one of the dedicated stitching programs on the images, assuming you had the Fly app set to have saved them. Then compare.
