I just purchased the Mavic 3T with the RC pro controller. It says it's capable of split screens, but i'm unsure of how to achieve this. I'd love to look at the thermal and zoom screens simultaneously to better track animals with the spot light instead of having to toggle between the two. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a link to a YouTube video showing the step to view Thermal and Zoom cameras side-by-side using the Pilot 2 app:

My department uses the Axon Air by Dronesense app and the button are slightly different, but the features are all available in that app as well.

Well, that was fairly simple. Many thanks!

The Mavic 3T doesn’t support true split-screen (side-by-side) viewing of thermal and zoom at the same time. In DJI Pilot 2, the only option is Picture-in-Picture (PIP), where one view appears as a small window over the other.
You can enable this by tapping the PIP icon on the right side of the screen while in flight, then switch which feed is primary (thermal vs visual/zoom). Unfortunately, there’s no way to lock a full dual view simultaneously.
For animal tracking with Spotlight, most pilots keep visual/zoom as the main view and use thermal in PIP to maintain awareness without constantly toggling. Hopefully DJI adds true split-screen in a future Pilot 2 update.
