Splitting the USB-C phone to controller connection.

I would like to run a set of HDMI goggles off of the Samsung GN8 USB-C port. Apparently, that same port needs to be used for the connection to the MP controller.

So, is it possible to do both at the same time? use a splitter or ESB hub, or ???

It's either MHL or USB, so not possible.

I tried doing the same thing. Ended up getting a Nvidia K-1 with HDMI output which works great
