hey all, am visiting staffordshire over Easter, wondering where near stoke on trent or the peak district areas are definates to fly?

Annoyingly, Peak District National Park have bylaws/rules that prohibit flying drones. God knows why.

Look here at Grey Arrows Drone Club. This is a specific UK drone club which has excellent map of locations and recommendations which may be of help. Free to join up. Unfortunately National Trust and Peak District National Park are not drone friendly. Ironically the Peak District was where countryside walking rights were established by civil disobedience and trespass. Can walk there with relative impunity but can't fly there!

Actually those peak district rules don't try to expressively prohibit drone flights.
They seem to have no issue with Derbyshire police dicking about with a drone having nothing better to do.....
