There are plenty of hard cases for storing the drone, controller, batteries, and controller, but how might y'all go about storing and carrying the other knick knacks? For example, in my "other" bag or case, I would have:
  • Documents (in case of ramp check)
  • Safety vest
  • Filters
  • Strobe lights
  • 2nd controller
  • USB charger for charging all the strobe lights and 2nd controller

I've seen quite a few pictures in various threads here of backpacks that should work for you. Doing a search should bring up a number of threads you should find of interest.

Agree a search > backpack < will bring up loads of threads with pics and opinions.

Most packs will hold the drone too, but you may be using a hard case and just want some sort of partitioned pack ?

The Lowrpro Droneguatd BP250 may suit.
Where my MP goes could take your goggles.

MP, 3 spares batts, GoPro, chargers, cables, filters, adapters, lifthor mount, iPad mini4, also full size laptop, lots of little things like micro sd cards etc in the mesh zip up pocket, and room for a little day walking kit, water bottles, and lunch.
Lowpro have numerous other model drone packs, but their pricing is fairly high.
Have seen good alternatives posted here in other threads, from sources like Amazon.
