Yeap, that's right. I used Photoshop HDR Efex Pro 2 plugin and then used Microsoft ICE to stitch. About a 25% overlap with each shot.

It was just moving the drone on a horizontal plane to start at the left and end at the right. There was no upward or downward movement ? Correct?

Yep, just kept it in the same position and used YAW to move it.
