Stoupa Messinia is a settlement that belongs to the Municipality of West Mani. It is a well-known tourist destination because of the beaches of "Kalogria and Stoupa", but mainly because of the book by Nikos Kazantzakis "Life and State of Alexis Zorbas", which he wrote while living in the area.
