Strange line

Lately I have been getting a horizontal line across the screen "Distortion" when I pan from side to side. It's about a half inch wide. It's right in the middle of the screen and in the video recordings. Any suggestions?

Try this. With the Mavic turned on but motors stopped and props removed, tap on the gimbal to see if you can create the distortion on the ground. Sometimes if you tap on the gimbal and can create the distortion, it could be a loose connector or wire. I had one that drove me crazy until it turned out to be a loose circuit board in the camera body.
