Suddenly, no left or right flight in normal mode

Recently, I discovered that I no longer have left/right flight control in normal mode only. Everything is fine in tripod and sport mode. I am running the current firmware and software. Has anyone else had this problem and, more importantly, does anyone know how to fix it?

Did you look in the three dots menu to see if you disabled sideways flight by accident? It would only happen when obstacle avoidance was active.

As a follow up note, the UI on my Fly app version has a hex icon just above the takeoff icon. The hex icon controls 'safety features' - it toggles between avoidance modes and turning off slew: the order is something like BYPASS, BRAKE, SLEW ... when slew is off, the hex icon loses the two vertical bars in the 'ring'. It seems Gold is bypass mode, White is brake, and the missing bars when the slew function is off.
