I've had an Air 2 for about 3 years now. So far, operates well, love the battery length, etc. I usually fly in Cine mode. That means, when I start everything up, it's in that mode. I'll take off, hover at about 10 feet for a few moments, and usually, my left and right (strafe?) controls don't work. I can forward and backward, up and down, but not left and right. If I switch to one of the two other modes and back, it works fine after that?

This is a recent development. It didn't do that at first. Any thoughts?

Thanks

I don't remember the Air 2 that well but it seems to me it would easy enough to simply start your drone in the regular mode and then switch to Cine mode after you take off and hover and get your homepoint, etc. IIRC, the different modes have settings so you can change the normal mode settings to be very close to Cine mode and then maybe you can use it instead or mostly.

I will look for the "sideways flight" setting. As far as starting in another mode, it hasn't been a huge problem, only that it seemed to have changed (without my doing so). On the other hand, I could have inadvertently hit that switch when doing something else. My inquiry was more curiosity than concern.

Are your rates turned all the way down in that mode, it sounds like that may be the problem.

I will see about that. Offhand, I'm not familiar with what the rates are, so I need to do some learning.

Power up everything.

At least this is what mine is set at in cine
Adjust from there

I have noticed when adjusting the rates there would be no change until I moved to another speed setting then back and it would work fine. I haven't noticed any problems with mine malfunctioning though just something I noticed setting the rates.
