Or... you could try a polarised screen film/protector - just make sure you order the correct orientation (vertical not horizontal). Been using one during what passes for summer 2025 in the UK: so far it's working out surprisingly well.Based on your other post here, are you sure you're looking for a sun hood? Those are typically used to reduce screen glare.

Seriously? Stand in the shade? That's like tech support asking if you've rebooted your computer. On that last mapping mission I flew (referenced in your link), there was NO shade and the heat index was 105. I've flown for years with an Android because the screen is bright enough to be seen in direct sun and it doesn't overheat and go black. However, I was forced to get an iPhone for certain missions where Android was not supported. And, a case does nothing to block the sun/glare and can easily contribute to the overheating issue.Based on your other post here, are you sure you're looking for a sun hood?
