Sun hood for Mavic Pro

I just purchased the hoodman setup. I want to see if I can use it on my mini 2 with the adapter.

With the MavMount it definitely will work, it's strong enough to hold the weight. it was literally designed with a hoodman setup in mind.

That actuall looks like it would work and not restrict finger access to the phone.

just had a look at that one and it is $33 AUD, prefer the one I already have see #22 post

To use a full professional hoodman setup, or any ipad mini shade, this works.

complete unit CNC milled 6061 aluminum anodized.. and NO cannibalizing other controllers. I have used it for weeks now and won't use any cheap plastic setup.

Thanks for posting, looks like a well made unit. Just ordered a black one.

I want a sun hood for my Mavic. Any idea? I don't have access to any 3D printer. Anywhere I can buy one?

We just launched one:
Ours is designed to have full accessibility to the touch screen, making it easy to adjust focus, camera settings, and record.
This solution is a minimalistic approach to increasing screen visibility outdoors.

Works fine without an additional mount. I can still use the controllers with no problem. I have the extender as well

I've tried it this way, but it was awful to try and get my hands around the shade to get to the controls, and then the iPad was basically down to my elbows. How do you feel about those ergonomics? I even have big hands and didnt really like it.

Hi. Does the hood get in the way of reaching the controller sticks?
Yes, it defintiely does get in the way. It's an awful way tot try and fly. I have huge hands, and I cant get around that.

here is the one I use, not cheap but you get what you pay for and I consider it is the best on the market that I have seen, robust, easy to use, would not be without it.
Showing my iPad Mini 4, they do make other sizes including the iPhone 6-7 and I think the plus etc
I do not work for this company, I am just a very satisfied customer.

have a look here Welcome to AerialDroneAccessories.com

i wasn't sure what to buy and wanted to know about the reflection issue, so i built a hood in the style of a hoodman, but nothing so elegant (mine ugly and big), using corrigated plastic. It ended up weighing only 200gm- i then covered it with thin black material. I tested for reflection as i built it- first with a several inch box , then adding another 'narrowed in' box, and then finally i actually put shop goggles at the top. Unless you cover fully at the top just like in a Hoodman, you will see your face/eyes in the reflection. This ugly thing I built works awesomely, but is not practical for portability....thus, I will be buying a hoodman which to me looks like good value, and now I know it will work well......
