Ok so it seems almost everything is getting back ordered. If you needed a battery say for a pro 2 is it ok to get aftermarket or would it invalidate a warranty if you filed a claim using it?

There are plenty of genuine used and new batteries for sale on eBay fully OEM which essentially means it's a real one from DJI. I personally don't like to use aftermarket anything because it's a greater risk since they don't always have the same values as the device's company. Also, I think that it would probably void the warranty.

Can u trust eBay “oem” how do you confirm authenticity
Usually, when you plug it in, something will trigger. Tbh though, I've never seen a genuine-looking Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom battery. Might just be me, probably out there, but I've just never seen them.

If it falls out of the sky 😀
Seriously I look at the sellers feedback and if it’s supposed to be new I look at the box it came in. I’ve only bought a few and was lucky and were OEM. Check the seller.
Mostly I’ve only bought from sellers here with a history.
