Just received my new to me Mavic 3 Pro with an RC controller. The drone connects to the RC controller flawlessly. However, when I attempt to connect it to an RC-N1 I had sitting around the connection fails. The DJI fly app shows the Mavic 3 Pro as a nearby device in the Quicktransfer app on the main screen of DJI Fly, and is able to connect to it in file transfer mode. However, when I switch to fly mode the connection attempt times out. I unbound the drone from the RC controller on the DJI Fly app (but did not remove it from my account). Is there secret handshake?

Figured it out myself.
- Unbind from old controller
- Start connection to new controller
- When the connection times out press the "Unable to connect" button on screen, then press and hold the battery power button until it beeps
- The pairing will complete within 60s
You shouldn’t need to unpair or unbind it from the original controller just to pair it and use it with a new controller. However, you will need to unbind it from the original controller to use for more than 5 flights, and Fly Away coverage only covers usage with the bound controller. You also need an internet connection for binding and unbinding, but not pairing.
