I've been flying my Mavic pro for a year now with my Samsung smart phone with no problems. I recently bought a new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet and having trouble getting the DJI go 4 connection app to connect properly. It wants to connect but the app flashes on and off over and over. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app but problem continues. After hours of trying to solve the problem, I have found one way to get it to connect. 1. Turn on my Mavic . 2. Turn on the controller. 3. Restart my tablet. It then will connect properly. Not sure why it won't connect normally like with my smart phone. It's like it my tablet is missing something that should be installed. Anyone else had this problem.1520353857868.png

Yup. I bought an S2 (8" T-713) just to fly my MP. If you want minimal stability there are some things you can do in settings (Turn on Developer options, set USB Config to MTP). But mine still required the secret handshake of starting things in the order you describe. What I ended up doing was removing Samsung's POS Android variant and installing the LineageOS ROM. MUCH more stable (although the newer version of GO 4 still gives me headaches switching to Drone Harmony. I think GO 4 just doesn't want to give up access to the USB.)
