Hi,

Just Joined. I have a mavic 2 with the appropriate smart controller. I decided to update all the firmware/software on the devices after 2 years of no usage. I updated the firmware to the newest versions using the older available assistant 2 before I realized there was a newer version of the assistant.

In any case, all upgrades, including the newest version of GO 4 apparently went fine, but the physical takeoff button on the smart controller doesn't do anything. The comparable button on the screen of the smart controller works fine, as do the joysticks.

I searched the forum , but didn't find anything I could use.

Any pointers ?

thanks
Bruce

Check all of your settings, that button will not work if there is an obstacle..try somewhere else.
Check your firmware to make sure all updates are applied.
Calibrate the Drone
If the Drone Battery is low the button will not function
If none of these corrects the problem the controller needs to be opened.

Its to the top left of the screen
Pulled out mine and dusted it off, sorry not seeing that button. Someone else may be able to help you. What are supposed to do with this button, press it once or press and hold? Not the RC Pro but the previous SC.

If you can launch with the soft button press on the display (plus slide) or you can start the motors with the sticks and then raise it from the ground with the left stick, may want to just "stick" with those IMO.
