You could try through the DJI assistant. That requires you to power up the drone and plug it into your computer. Off hand, I'm sure there is somewhere in the app that should tell you the battery firmware version to make sure they are all updated but I'm not certain where in the app you would find it. Some of the guys that are more knowledgable than me could probably tell you.

I find that if u just wait in the opening screen for like 30 seconds when everything is connected it should pop up if not just hit "go fly" enter the camera view and then go back to the last screen you were on the main screen.... (because you will never see update notices when u tap "go fly" and are in actual camera view) so...... u have to go back to main screen

Just a point I picke up on from the DJI forum, your device (tablet of phone) must have an internet connection, otherwise you definitely won’t get the battery FW update prompt

Yesterday when I went out to practice in a nearby parking lot I got the warning and was able to update one of the batteries.
The 2nd battery didn't give a prompt.
I won't be able to fly today but I'll try later today turning on and off and try to get the prompt...it would be nice if there was a "check for updates" button somewhere...thanks for yalls help.

It’s safe practice after an update to try and update all the batteries. Sometimes you have to log in and out of the app and wait on the main screen to see if an update is available for your battery.
