Unfortunately the interference of GPS signals in that part of the world isn't just blocking GPS reception.Meta 4:
A question related to your GPS jamming warning:
If you were using Litchi which stores the program in the drone at takeoff, would jamming effect the flight?
Better to contact Cyprus if that is where you are going. Greece has no jurisdiction in Cyprus. Try: Department of Civil Aviation - Home PageAdvice? Just had a read through of the CCAA page. EASA/EU rules but the Cypriots seem to be a bit more relaxed about drone use than a lot of other EU territories.Better to contact Cyprus if that is where you are going. Greece has no jurisdiction in Cyprus. Try: Department of Civil Aviation - Home Page
Exactly this when I’ve gone over to Cyprus. You will need to open up the bag / carry case carrying the drone before it goes through x-ray.I took mine through airport security no problem. Has to be carry on luggage because of the Li-ion batteries but doubt you'd trust it to your suitcase anyway lol.
You need a Euro flyer ID and you're supposed to do it in the first EU country that you intend to fly in, it is then valid in all EU countries. As it turns out, I did mine on the Cypriot CAA website which was all in perfect English and very easy to navigate.
