Testing the Mavic 4 Pro Active Tracking on my MTB

Did a little Active Track testing today on my mountain bike. Incredibly impressed! I set it up to track me, then took off the joysticks and stuck the controller in my backpack, and off we went. I don't have my ND filters yet (they're due to arrive tomorrow), so just shot the video in auto mode.

I set it up out in front of us, shooting back at me as we rode downhill on the "Flow" trail at our nearby bike park. I'm astonished at how well the drone did with this. Incredible, I never had to touch the controls. It was wild watching it as we rode, swooping back and forth across the front of us - hoping it wouldn't smash into the hillside as it descended with us. Thankfully it didn't!

^That's nice but these shots could have also been taken with a camera on a long pole. Would it be possible to test to see how well the M4P does a little bit higher and maybe a few more obstacles like a few tall trees?

I searched on Amazon for a 50' selfie stick for my GoPro, couldn't find one.

Well, good thing. Adjusting the controls while bouncing along the trail with one hand on the handlebars while reaching over your shoulder and into the backpack for the sticks with the other might have been a mite difficult. This P(not)IC technique may be something you don't want to display on a public forum.

But it most certainly is downright amazing how well the Mavic 4 Pro tracked you.
