Tethered Mavic 2?

At a starting price of $7,900, without the drone, a max height of 60 meters, tethered at one location, and with battery bank for 2 hours flight (gen set or AC power indefinite), I'd think the appeal would be limited.

One could essentially obtain the same flight time capability for a whole lot less cost, by purchasing two or three M2 drones, ten batteries, a multi-station battery charger, and achieve similar results by rotating the drone into the air with one relieving the previous one on duty. This achieves continuous flight, with more altitude ability, but requires an operator to switch out drones, whereas the tethered drone could be left doing its thing with no crew - - but would anyone do that?

One more option ...
It is a good solution in terms of autonomy and for compromised locations .. (here in Spain / Europe the competent authorities use slave drones with great autonomy for surveillance of large events ...) The one that is a slave adds security in the operative part and reliability in autonomy ...

There was one member that used his Mavic during Halloween to float a ghost with a pre-programmed waypoint mission. It had to return home when battery depleted but this tether idea would have let it run indefinitely.
