Great memories of my 4 years in Thailand in the late 60s. We had a house in Pattaya where there was only one hotel. Imagine that. You could walk the beach at sunset and see very few people.

Nice, how high in altitude were you?

For most shots I fly at an altitude of less than 120m, so that you can still see details.
For the high beach overflights I get a special permit from the island administration and inform the airport tower if necessary... (These flights are at 300-500m altitude)
...and anyway, "Air Sense" is always on because there are also low altitude heli-flights with tourists over the island...
