The most likely cause would be a poor GPS fix initially with a good GPS fix immediately after.
The drone could have even been still on the ground at the time.
Your actual flight data would confirm if this was what happened.

That sounds legit. Sounds like that should be a rare occurrence. Same thing happened on a different flight on the same day.

It's the, "I used to walk to school in a blizzard every day, uphill both ways", thing. Obviously a wicked headwind, both coming and going ;-)
