No RTH. I was barely able to fly between the multiple layers of the canopy by the seat of my pants! I did pick up a few satellites after I got over 200 ft. in the air.
I forgot to put a ND Filter on before the flight, so when I got up on top, the bright sun kinda washed out some of the image clarity.

The top looks dead- probably had a lightening strike.
My back and neck got tired just trying to 'fly that'

Yes, it's demise is starting to show. There are estimates that the tree could be up to 800 years old. The tree is standing at 327 ft. in height.
My neck held up ok as I was flying FPV looking at a Crystal Sky monitor most of the time. My Spotter did yell at me a couple of times, but he did a great job of catching it out of the air upon landing. Brush everywhere!!
