Hi everyone,
Had this opportunity of flying over an iconic ship yesterday ...
The historic vessel "Phoenix" has taken up residence in the Gulf of Morbihan for a few days of peaceful anchorage in Baden. This magnificent Danish schooner from 1929, recognizable by its black hull and impressive rigging, is using this stopover to prepare for its participation in the 2025 Gulf Week, which will be held from May 26 to June 1.
Recently transferred to the French flag and now based in Port-Haliguen, the Phoenix is among the iconic ships expected at this great maritime gathering that will bring together more than 1,000 traditional boats in Breton waters. A unique opportunity to discover this witness to maritime history that has navigated between different lives, from cargo transport to film sets.
Enjoy the flight,
Matt
