no. didn't get a chance to do that.Nice. Did you send the drone up to take any shots?
good oneVery nice! The astronomy nerd in me thinks you could put a sponsorship credit at the end- “brought to you by the Sun and Magnetosphere”.

Go to the UAF Geophysical Institute and you'll find links to the Poker Flats Aurora cam. That's what we keep an eye on and you can get predictions at Product Subscription Service. Sign up for Warnings for KP 4,5,6. That will give you a heads up on when an aurora is forecast. 4 is OK...5 is very good. 6 is quite something rare. With that knowledge check on weather and if it's going to be clear...get that last minute flight booked. THAT is how you can be sure you'll see some Aurora instead of booking a month ahead and seeing nothing but clouds.Wow! Unreal! I’d absolutely love to see it with my own eyes one day. It’s one of those places that feels almost too incredible to be real. I even find myself checking united airlines reviews and looking at flights from time to time, just in case the opportunity comes up. Hopefully one day I’ll finally make that trip happen.
