The rear status lights never turn on

I am about to buy the Air 2. Has this lighting issue been fixed in the latest update?

when will they fix this i cant do the repair because my computer is to old and I can’t download latest software

I have same issue however I cannot do the fix as I have a computer running on windows 8 so I can’t do it due to I can’t download latest software when will this be fixed it’s been months now
