Thank you for the nice picture. Yes that certainly is winter coming. Is that snow melted to ice some or an ice coating or both? Seems to be well coated the full branches. Is a very scenic picture.

Yes. I was the first snow at low altitude and very wet. It froze at night and left the trees coated in a snowy ice. Driving up into the hills was gorgeous so I tossed up my drone for a top down shot. Winter has begun and the world will now turn into a mostly black and white image for the next several months. Even the ”evergreen” seem to loose their color but winter can be beautiful too, eh?

Yes, winter is very monochromatic, but has its own kind of beauty.

Forcast for Friday is snow here in Northern Ontario. Seems we are never far behind you guys in the weather.
Love when it snows and the evergreens get covered for winter photos. Trouble is it gets old very fast when winter is almost 6 months long.
