The "Sunken State" of Epidaurus Located in the Bay of Agios Vlassios, on the beach "Kalymnios" of Ancient Epidaurus. At a minimum distance from the shore and at a depth of only 2 meters, visitors can swim with a mask or with small longboats literally in the ... history. This is the "sunken state of Argolida" where the ancient submerged ruins still stand at the bottom. This monument, declared an archeological site since 1998, is a large rural Roman villa (Villa Rustica), which hosted a large number of people, as well as goods, as indicated by the huge jars, visible to the swimmer!

I can't get over how clear the water is making the ruins so visible. Really good flight w/great music too. Thumbswayup

Very nice and well shot. Amazing clear water and the fact that it was not completely pilfered before becoming a national monument. I love exploring places like that in the water. Thanks for sharing it.
