Thinking of getting the RC Pro 2 for my Mini 5 Pro

I thought I’d use hard cases for my first 2 drones. I never did! The cases are covered in dust even though the drones were pretty well used. I haven’t bothered with hard cases for Mini 4 or 5 Pro. If I’m out with both they fit in the Mini 5 pro fly more soft bag, otherwise they’ll just take up water bottle space in my camera bag.

Have anyone did the range test between these two controllers for the Mini 5 Pro? How much further can you fly with the expensive controller? Thanks.
I have only flown my M5P with the RC PRO 2. I have not used the cheaper RC2 yet and really don't plan to.
I love the performance I get with the RC PRO 2. So glad I made the investment in the better controller. I use the RC2 WITH MY Mini 4 pro.

I spoke to Lykus and Startrc awhile back to ask if they were making a case for the Mini 5 Pro and RC Pro 2. Francis the Mananger at Lykus contacted me and said they have created one. Mine arrived Yesterday! Here is the link. Amazon.com : Lykus Titan MM520 Waterproof Hard Case for DJI Mini 5 Pro and DJI RC Pro 2, Support up to 8 batteries and RC lanyard [CASE ONLY] : Electronics
So how did you end up liking the case? Just getting ready to order it as soon as my RC arrives.

Currently available on Amazon in the US, for ~$1,400.

Ouch! that's very pricey. Still, very tempting.

I have a Mini Pro 3/4/5, Air 3, Avata, Avata 2, Neo, Neo 2, will be getting the Avata 360 when released. 2 RC2 controllers, only one gets used, other still virgin.

The drones I fly regularly, M5P, Avata 2, Neo 2.

Help me by making your strongest arguments for indulging myself with the RC Pro 2. I want to be talked into it, but I'm just not there yet 😁

Well, I finally bought the RC 2 Pro and I really like it. And, I figured out the best way to fit it in the stock Mini 5 Pro bag.

One can detach the divider from the inside-front of the bag (it's held on with Velcro). You leave it just flapping around but now you can put the RC 2 Pro at the front of the bag, and the drone at the back. It would be nice if that little flap would reach the divider on the right, but it's not critical.

I also have room on the right for ND filters and a small notebook. The bag zips up fine with no stresses from being stretched in any direction.
