Hi TD, a few months ago I replaced my gimbal plate and now I am getting scratches on the back of the camera (see pic) it is catching on the L shape (see pic), I am not getting any gimbal error message but the camera does stick when moved manually.
Can the part that is scratched be changed ? how can I do that ? where can I get the parts, I already have a spare L, and a spare gimbal plate.
Your expert help would be appreciated.

I'm not @Thunderdrones, but I can tell you that, yes, you can replace that part. It is just a small plastic cover held on by three screws. If @Thunderdrones doesn't have one, I do.

First, however, you need to figure out why it is hitting the anti-drop hook. I would suspect that either the gimbal plate you put on was not made correctly or you did not get the rubber isolation bands installed correctly. The gimbal should hang freely with about 1/8" gap between the hook and top of the gimbal.

If you can get some pictures of the gimbal plate and bands as currently installed, people on the forum should be able to provide some help.

@wombat my first guess is a bent gimbal plate, where the 2 screws hold the silver pitch arm to the gimbal plate. Also, ditto to what @JeepDSL said.

Here are some angles to look at while you are holding the Mavic off the table.

In this picture, your gimbal plate might be slightly bent where the 2 screws are and that will make the top of the yaw cover strike the L bracket. If it is bent, you can straighten it to level by just gently pulling it a little until the yaw motor cover no longer strikes the L bracket. After you're done, make sure everything is straight, as in the following pictures.

JeepDSL thank you for your help, what country are you in ? Shipping cost from US to Australia are not cheap, I know TD is in the US.

TD thank you also for your suggestions, just found out that the scratches maybe there because the Mavic was upside down what I moved the gimbal, when it is standing on its legs it does not connect with the L bracket but there are marks on the L bracket.
Do you have the small yellow tab that originally came with the Mavic, (the one I took off and threw away) also the part that is scratched, cost and shipping to Western Australia please.
