Today is my birthday!!!!

Well
Today is finally here
The day I am both exited and scared for
I am exited for this day but at the same time wish this day would never come
Now
I'm officially 17 years old
THATS A PROBLEM
Because
I don't wanna be grown yet
I'm not ready
I'm scared

I would like to share a few things
About when I was 15 or 14 I discovered the mavic pro

A year after that I forgot about it thinking my parents wouldnt have enough money to have it for me

When I turned 16 I discovered the mavic 2 pro expecting for it to be just another one of my dreams

Unexpectedly I have a mavic pro coming in the mail

Before this I already had an account here
So I brought it back to life

The mavic pro had problems with it's antenna which were fixed, then gimbal problems which was replaced completely

I wished my entire life for the mavic and now I have it
I would never give up my baby
Up into this day I invest in it
Because I fly it with more purpose than photography

I use it to passively make friends when I am too scared to be there myself
I also use it just for the heck of it
And I use it to patrol around my area just because

When I got my mavic in the mail this had to had been the "mission complete" song that played once it went into my door

GUESS WHAT I JUST DID

I soldered for the first time
And it was successful
Basically
My drones arm needed to be replaced
It requires soldering
I was nervous because the possibility of burning the board was there
And I thought I burned the board at first
But it didn't work at first
Because the solder wasn't shiny
It needed to be held a little longer
So I fixed it
It WORKS
HAHA
I'm like you guys now
The smoke made me feel Abit weird though
So I had to take breaks
But I got it done when I thought I would never succed
I feel GREAT

Yes always solder in a well ventilated area. Use a fan...
Don't breathe the smoke. Not a good thing to do.

Good job on your soldering.

I haven't done too much of that myself when it comes to electronics, but I have soldered / brazed copper pipes together and it does take practice.
