I'm planning my first flight toward the end of the day if the monsoon cooperates.

It's probably going to be around 100 .... is that too hot to safely fly?

I'm wondering if any locals have 'it's just too hot' guidelines for this area.

That'll be fine. Just keep your batteries cool before using them. You definitely don't want them baking in the sun (or in your hot car as it sits in a parking lot).

thanks ... I think I read that the top temp limit for flying is 104 and this time of the year it's almost always hotter than that before sunset.

People have flown in temperatures hotter than that. Keep your equipment in a cool place until you're ready to fly (especially the batteries & mobile device) and you should be fine.
