Gila River Memorial Airport is located about 4 miles southwest of the business district in Chandler, AZ. It was used for cropdusting and air charter operations. The last recorded aircraft operations were November 1983. In the video you'll see a 1945 Lockheed PV-2D Harpoon, Five abandoned 1942 DC-4's (C-54 Skymaster's), Howard 500. The Mavic performed flawless like always considering it was 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
