I regularly fly out of Seatac with my quads. Don't have my mavic yet, but the same rules should apply. I use a lipo bag for my batteries. (they have to be in carryon). I also put each bag in its own ziploc bag inside of the lipo fire resistant bag. I travel with over 10 batteries in the bag at a time and have never had a problem.
Travelled in the US, Germany and Spain from the UK and no issues with the Mavic Pro through security in carry on. They stopped and searched the bag in Hamburg, Germany but they did the same with my P3Pro a previous year.
I only travel with two batteries though, to keep the weight down and two batteries while traveling is plenty for me between charges at hotels.
