Not sure if it's per flight or per day we didn't get that far. He was open to conversation and welcomed input into a new area for them. I understand that if they don't charge anything they'll probably just have a blanket ban.
It's a shame they presume quad copter flyers have deep pockets.

If you launch from boat you'll be fine I guess - not quite sure who "owns" the sea.

If you launch from the shore then you'd need permission of whoever owned the land you launched from. And not to fly more than 500m away.

Anyway that's the strict interpretation of the law.

As I always say in every public forum visible to the authorities I personally always abide very strictly to every single letter of the law.
