Just wondering if there’s any Suffolk folk who can suggest areas for flying that tick a few boxes;
Out of the way of Joe public
Picturesque
Maybe some nice landmarks

Was on a walk this morning in Melton Woodbridge, the Mrs thought I was really taking all the views in but was actually trying to case out flying spots!
Noticed that there’s a hell of a lot of power lines around!!

Also wondering if there are any meets/group in Suffolk

The original I would suspect, (but then I also recognised the Melton reference). You only need to specify where you are when you aren't in the original

Chantry Park (it has a designated Drone/RC area!)

Originally from Colchester, in Paris now. Coming back for a holiday in August. I’m gonna try some places I used to cycle around.

Try Wivenhoe, Abberton reservoir, Colchester Castle (plus many roman and historic landmarks, oldest town in England and all), Mersea Island, Brightlingsea, Southend pier to name a few. All Essex.

I may try Orwell bridge, forgot about that.
