I couldn't get the shot's I wanted as I'd have had to get up above 400ft.

In the 2nd image my eyes are searching for the subject, which is the main river to the right. I kept looking over to the left at the boat and the 2nd river. Better to just drop the left side out.

In the third image (bottom) I would have Photoshopped the construction buildings out in the upper left, and tweaked the intensity of the trees and toned down the reflections of the river while increasing the details or structure.

See Attached- I have opened the image in ACR (Adobe Camera RAW), eliminated the buildings in the upper left (content aware fill), reduced the glare on the river to bring out the sky and clouds reflections, increased the details and brightness in the trees.
