I bought a used Mavic Air and need to pull data from the internal storage.
The package apparently did not include a USB-C to USB3 cable.
they're pretty easy to obtain via amazon but I want to make sure what's available is compatible with the Air.
has anyone needed to purchase a USB-c to USB3 cable and if so, which one is compatible.
thanks'

Use you own quality us 3 cable and just use a USB micro to USB C adapter. 20190929_135355.jpeg

USB Micro won't be USB3. Specs for micro in USB3 is a different form factor as you can see with slim USB external drives.
It will still work, just won't be as fast as using an actual USB3.
Any USB3 to C will work.

Interesting note: when using USB3 to C cable to charge devices, particularly QC charging, I have to pull out the A side a bit from the socket. That's probably do that the USB3 specific pins don't engage. I'm not sure if that's also the case with data when cord is used in a USB2 port.

Air and M2 also have 8GB internal storage. Helps when you took off and found out you forgot the SD card, or it becomes full. You can only get to the internal storage by connecting the AC to a PC with the AC powered on
