I was leading a class/workshop on drones, tried to fire up my M2Z and P3A, connect it to my Samsung Tab S3, had nothing but problems.
First used Volutz micro-usb with micro to C converter, no go.
Also used cable that came with the M2, similar problems. I thought the issue was with the tablet.
Later this afternoon I took time to check things out. 2 of the 3 Volutz I had on hand and the DJI cable showed to be flakey.
One Volutz seems to have an intermittent short, as it caused my P3 remote to powercycle when you moved it around near the A socket
I found that USB 3 cables lock tighter into standard sized A ports than USB 2 cables.
I'd like to stick with micro-usb cables and use adapters, since USB-3 micro cables have a completely different form factor than 2.0 cables, the other option being C. But then I don't have much using micro-USB anymore
I'd like suggestions for rugged, reliable cables available in 3, 6 and 10ft lengths.
Since I would likely use them for charging, they need to tolerate 2A and QC3.
Being reasonably flexible so I can keep it in my pocket to charge my phone when it gets low.
