My android phone was disconnecting at an average of once per flight and I suspected that the supplied controller cable was faulty. Frightened the life out of me when it first happened!
I purchased this 99 pence one from ebay, and so far it has been perfect. I've ordered a couple more for spares. Don't forget to unplug the supplied cable from the side of the controller when using the centre bottom USB socket.
