I was putting my charging hub away and a little back cap came off the bottom to reveal a USB port. What is that for?

The one on the actual charger is so that you can recharge your RC, I don't see any other USB on the actual 4 hub
If you are talking about the DJI 4 battery charging hub that folds up for storage....yes there is a small micro USB port under a rubber cover. I believe it could be used by DJI to provide a firmware update to the charging hub for whatever reason. I believe that's what I read a long time ago after purchasing it......
Yes, I just looked at the DJI manual that came with the Fly More Kit. It's used for firmware updates when available.

I don't seem to be able to find this micro USB port on my charging hub. Can you post a picture?
And I don't remember seeing a manual with the Fly More Kit, nor can I find such a document at the DJI-website.
Here are some pictures. The Mavic 2 Fly More Kit came with a user guide to explain the directions for the added accessories like the charging hub , car charger and the battery power bank adapter.
I've never seen a firmware update for the 4 Battery charging hub. I guess DJI just manufactured it with the ability to do so if they needed to. Hope this helps.

My charging hub, bought mid April this year as part of the M2 Fly More Kit, doesn't have this micro USB port.
