I'm a fan of The Drone Creative, maybe it's just listening to his Irish Brogue 😁 In any case, got a few things out of this Mini4P tips video, especially the fact that you can use a mouse with the RC2 for creating/editing waypoint missions. Tried it, very cool (and quite useful!).

I had seen this on YT a while back

I've recently added a couple of USB C mini mice to my kit for all the new controllers. Got a wired one for in the field, and a wireless one for at home. Really helps navigating the screens and pointing precisely when fat fingers get in the way. The three dots in the upper right are especially difficult to activate with a finger.

I wonder if an Apple Magic Pencil would work?
That would certainly be easier, but, alas, Apple Pencils only work with iPads designed for their use, and don't even work on iPhones, let alone Android devices. You can still use a rubber tipped stylus though. I used to carry one in my drone bag. Just hard to control the sticks while simultaneously holding a stylus though. A mini wired USB C mouse can be left hanging by the cord as needed. They are about $10-$15, so no biggie if the cord ultimately fails, and the weight is super light and unlikely to stress the USB C connector on the remote control. Alternatively, just plug in the wireless mouse dongle and keep a wireless mouse in your pocket.

One advantage to the RC Pro 2 is the vertical screen rotation that makes certain menus easier to see on a portrait screen, and makes the 3 dots in the upper right easier to touch. I also use the 5 way button press to activate the Camera Menu which allows immediate access to all the menus without needing to touch any part of the screen.

Shooting vertically by rotating the screen is only one of the features of that capability of the RC Pro 2. Access to portrait menus is the other one. Never had that capability with the Fly app before on any device. It has historically only been a landscape app.
