Using a tablet

Bit of a newbie question,

Would like to try attaching my tablet with the controller but have a few basic questions:-

1) Does the tablet has to have GPS?
2) Does the table has to have cellular data signals?

Would love to use my obsolete Nokia N1 tablet instead of my phone.

Does the tablet has to have GPS?

No. However, without GPS on the tablet, you will not be able to use the Follow Me feature or reset the home point to your current location after taking off.

No.

The answer to both is NO. However the tablet will have to be able to run the DJI Go app.

The only thing you really wont be able to do is see yourself on a map that has not been cached.
