Hello all. I'm just now getting into waypoint missions and am having trouble figuring out POI settings. One of which is 'Altitude.' What is that for? Am I supposed to know or guess how high the object is?

During my first try, I used my car as the object but did not change the altitude from its default (65 ft I think). As a result, the video was crazy. It pointed everywhere except at my car. On my 2nd try I set the altitude to zero and all went well.

So my question is what am I supposed to do with the altitude setting when the POI is not on the ground?

Thanks in advance :)

That would be the altitude of the POI with respect to your take-off location. It is used to calculate the gimbal pitch angle so that the POI is centered vertically in the view of the camera

You are expected to estimate the altitude of the POI with respect to your take-off location.
